Brita Horn, Chair of the Colorado Republican Party

Brita Horn was elected Chair of the Colorado Republican Party in 2025 following previous Chair, Dave Williams. Before taking on this role she served as a leader in the New Mexico Trump Victory Campaign, coordinating volunteers, mobilizing voters and building coalitions.

After 9/11, she felt compelled to serve her community and created a nonprofit fire department. She has served as fire chief, first responder and safety officer for almost 20 years. She also is a ranch wife working with her husband, Gary, on the family cattle ranch while raising two daughters. She was also elected Treasurer and Public Trustee of Routt County.

She is a licensed financial professional, keynote speaker, a mentor and author of Drinking from a Fire Hose—5 Essential Tools to Not Get Soaked. She is also founder and CEO of Never Give Up Consulting.

Brita graduated from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, New York and has been in the finance world since the 1980’s, working for Westin Hotels in Washington D.C. and Vail , the Hyatt Beaver Creek and Pepi’s Hotel Gasthof Gramshammer and Restaurant in Vail Village. In addition, she attended the Colorado Mountain College studying Fire Science. She is also on the current advisory council board of the Leadership Program of the Rockies.
