WHO ARE WE?

Boulder Republican Women (BRW) provides a forum to draw together Republican women (and men) to foster and promote conservative principles. We are both a social and educational organization, providing the opportunity to connect with like-minded Boulderites in a stimulating environment. At our monthly meetings, we sponsor interesting and thought-provoking speakers, addressing policies and politics from a conservative viewpoint. BRW provides a wide range of opportunities to be active in the community, from visiting the State Legislature to honoring our veterans to promoting candidates and ballot issues. BRW is the place to get plugged-in to the best Republican women in Boulder County!

HISTORY

Since 1939, Boulder women have been organized to actively support Republican causes. As the population in the area grew, multiple satellite clubs were formed to meet the growing demand. They often met in member’s homes. The clubs worked together to provide political and Republican education, initiating and sponsoring events such as the Lincoln Dinner and the summer picnic that brought Republicans together.

As the demographics changed, there were several club consolidations. In February of 2006, the Boulder Club and the Boulder Forum of Republican Women voted to join together and form a stronger single Republican Women’s Club for the Boulder area.

Today, Boulder Republican Women is one of the largest Republican Women’s clubs in Colorado, with almost 100 members. Membership continues to grow in recent years.

Boulder Republican Women continues to be affiliated with the Colorado Federation of Republican Women (CFRW) and the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW).
